The Wisdom Nation will soon introduce a vast desert area, and the stories and adventures in Sumeru will continue here. Three local characters, Nilou, Cyno, and Candace, will also become playable characters! Meanwhile, Weinlesefest is set to treat players to more stories, events, mini-games, and rich rewards in the clear autumn skies of Mondstadt.
In contrast to the tropical jungle, Sumeru’s harsh desert has a rugged and dangerous beauty. In the heart of the desert lies the majestic Mausoleum of King Deshret and dungeons filled with puzzles, mechanisms, and robotic guardians powered by ancient technologies of the deceased god and his ancient civilization. The desert is also home to Aaru Village, the largest settlement of the desert people and a safe haven for exiled scholars and a wealth of information. As players head deeper into the desert area, Sumeru’s Archon Quest continues to unfold as more factions appear, including two Fatui Harbingers, Il Dottore, and Scaramouche.
Powered by unknown technologies, two mechanical monstrosities will debut as new Boss Enemies. The Overseer Network’s Semi-Intransient Matrix Algorithm is the leader of the mechanics guarding King Deshret’s Mausoleum, and can turn invisible in combat. Another new Boss Enemy, Aeonblight Drake will challenge players in the rainforest with different attack patterns.
Meanwhile, three Sumeru characters will be available to recruit as reliable allies on player teams. Following her debut as a dancer, Nilou will be joining as a five-star playable character from Hydro, combining her graceful dance moves with swordsmanship. The trusty General Mahamatra Cyno is also ready for combat as a five-star Electro polearm wielder. He is also a fan of Genius Invokation, a new collectible card game that hasn’t been added with version 3.3 yet! Candace, the half-breed descendant of King Deshret, will debut as the guardian of Desertfolk and Aaru Village. With her Hydro Vision and a polearm, she will be available as a four-star character in the Event Wishes with Cyno and Venti replay during the first half of patch 3.1. Nilou and Albedo’s replay will continue in the second half of the update. Nilou and Albedo’s replay will continue in the second half of the update.
Far from the desert, in Mondstadt, the annual Weinlesefest will be a time to make and taste the wine of the year with the Anemo Archon. Players will have the opportunity to meet up with friends in Mondstadt and help Razor discover more about his past. Weinlesefest also features a major limited-time seasonal event and four different mini-games. Players can redeem various rewards, including a new four-star weapon Missive Windspear, along with its exclusive refining materials, by earning Festive Fever through mini-games.
More challenges and rewards are also waiting for you in version 3.1. The “Wind Chaser” event will challenge participants to wield the power of the wind in a special Domain. In another event, “Star-Seeker’s Sojourn”, you will help a girl fulfill her wish to search for the stars of the future. Finally, you will be rewarded in the Spiral Abyss if you complete Floor 4, Chamber 3, with a chance to recruit Collei for free. Also, the daily login event is back, with up to 10x Intertwined Fate and other items to claim. A total of Primogems ×1,600, Fragile Resin ×4, and two unique devices, “Jumpy Dumpty Party Popper” and “Cloud Retainer’s Damasked Device”, will be sent to you via in-game mail.
