With its launch fast approaching, custom models of Gigabyte’s NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card have been listed by a Vietnamese retailer.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Gigabyte Custom Model Listed: Windforce 3X, Gaming OC, and AORUS Flavors In The Works
To update: Australian retailers have also started listing the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 lineup with their preliminary prices, which should not be taken as the MSRP or final price. Australian retailers, PCAOS and Computersperth have listed the cards at prices up to $4,550 AUD, which converts to more than $3,000 US.
The following is the retail price list:
- Gigabyte RTX 4090 GAMING OC 24GB: AU$4,270 ($2,910 USD)
- Gigabyte RTX 4090 AORUS MASTER 24GB: AU$3,660 ($2,499 USD)
Vietnamese retail store, Kccshop (via I_Leak_VN), has listed three upcoming Gigabyte graphics cards that are custom designs for NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards. Models include two standard Gigabyte offerings (Windforce & Gaming) and one AORUS (Master) variant as listed below.
- N4090WF3-24GD (GeForce Gigabyte RTX 4090 Windforce 3X)
- N4090 OC-24GD Sets (Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC)
- N4090AORUS M-24GD (AORUS GeForce RTX 4090 Master)
The retailer appears to be taking pre-orders for these cards early on, having only received notification from manufacturers for these models; however, we advise readers to avoid preliminary listings and wait until cards are actually available on shelves before making any purchases.
All three graphics cards will feature a custom PCB layout and factory overclocking, along with 24GB of GDDR6X memory, which is standard for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 ‘expected’ specs
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 will use 128 SM of the 144 SM for a total of 16,384 CUDA cores. The GPU will come with 96 MB of L2 cache and a total of 384 ROPs, which is just insane. Clock speeds are yet to be confirmed, but considering the TSMC 4N process is being used, we expect clocks in the 2.0-3.0 GHz range.
Coming to memory specs, the GeForce RTX 4090 is expected to have 24GB GDDR6X capabilities that will clock in at 21Gbps speeds on a 384-bit bus interface. This will provide up to 1TB/s of bandwidth. This is the same bandwidth as the existing RTX 3090 Ti graphics card, and when it comes to power consumption, the TBP is said to be rated at 450W, meaning the TGP can end up below it’s. The card will be powered by a single 16-pin connector that offers up to 600W of power. We’ll likely get 500W+ custom builds like we saw with the RTX 3090 Ti.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards, including the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 graphics cards, will be among the first graphics cards other than the RTX 4090 to be released to gamers. So far, the RTX 4090 is expected to launch on October 22, but expect an unveiling at NVIDIA’s GTC keynote later this month.
